Privacy policy

Short version: PorTres has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. Your events, player names and scores are stored on your own devices. If you create a live results link, that event (its name, player names, rounds and scores) is also stored on our server so people with the link can follow it, and it is deleted automatically 30 days after the last update. In-app purchases are processed by Apple and verified through RevenueCat.

What the app stores, and where

• Events, player names, rounds and scores are saved locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch. They are not uploaded to us unless you create a live results link for that event (see below).
• Player names are whatever you type. Use first names or nicknames if you prefer; they never leave your device unless you share them or create a live link.
• Share links (/r/#…) carry the event name, player names and results inside the link itself, after the #. That part of a URL is not sent to our web server; the results page decodes it in your browser. Anyone you send the link to can read it, so share it only with your group.

Live results link

A live results link (/l/…) lets your players and the club TV follow an event as you enter results. It is created only when you choose to create it for an event.

• What is stored: the event name, date and format, the player names, the rounds and courts, and the scores, plus the time of the last update. Nothing else: no account, no email, no device identifier, no location.
• Where: on our server on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages Functions and a Cloudflare D1 database). Cloudflare acts as our hosting provider.
• Who can see it: anyone who has the link. Links are long and random, and they are not listed, linked or indexed by search engines, but anyone you (or your players) forward the link to can open it. Share it only with your group. Only your app holds the key that can update it.
• How long: an event is deleted automatically 30 days after its last update.
• Abuse protection: to limit how many links can be created, the server keeps a salted one-way hash of the requesting IP address for up to one hour. The IP address itself is not stored.
• No tracking: the live page uses no cookies, ads or analytics. It only asks our server for the latest results.
• To stop sharing: stop sending the link and the event will expire 30 days after its last update; or write to us with the link and we will delete it straight away.

Launch waiting list

If you join the waiting list on this website, we store your email address, the language of the page, the option you picked (club, coach, friends or player, if any), your country code as reported by Cloudflare, the page you signed up on and the date. We use it for one thing: to email you when PorTres is available on the App Store. We do not sell or share it, and we do not use it for advertising. It is stored in the same Cloudflare D1 database as live links. Signing up is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it any time by writing to us, and we will delete your address. We delete the list once the launch email has gone out, or at the latest 12 months after you signed up.

Purchases (RevenueCat)

If PorTres offers optional paid features, payments are handled by Apple through the App Store; we never see your card details. To check which features you have unlocked, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app-specific identifier and your App Store transaction information. RevenueCat acts as our service provider and processes this data only to validate and restore purchases.

The website and free tools

• The Americano generator and pair draw run entirely in your browser. What you type is saved in your browser’s local storage on that device so you can come back to it; it is not sent to us.
• We don’t use advertising or analytics trackers on this site, and we set no cookies.
• The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical data (such as IP address) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

Children

PorTres is a general-audience sports app and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Your rights

We hold no account or profile about you. Everything the app stores stays on your device: deleting the app (or clearing this site’s data in your browser) removes it. The only event data on our side is a live results link you created, which expires by itself 30 days after its last update; write to us with the link to have it deleted sooner. For purchase records, contact Apple or write to us. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.
